Effective [COPYRIGHT EFFECTIVE DATE]
URAKIMON respects copyright. If you believe that material URAKIMON publishes on this website (its pages, documentation or example records) infringes your copyright, you can send us a notice as described below, which follows the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This process is for copyright only. For information about you in records, see People in records.
1. Where to send a notice
Send notices to URAKIMON's copyright agent:
- [DMCA AGENT NAME], for [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a [ENTITY TYPE] formed in [STATE OF FORMATION]
- [DMCA AGENT STREET ADDRESS]
- Phone: [DMCA AGENT PHONE]
- Email: [DMCA AGENT EMAIL]
2. What a notice must contain
Before sending a notice, please check that the use is not licensed and not a fair use. A notice must be in writing and include:
- your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for the owner;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list);
- the material you say infringes, with enough detail for us to find it, such as the page's address;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- this statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.";
- this statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
Sending a notice you know to be false can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. ยง512(f)).
3. What we do with a notice
If a notice is complete, we act quickly to remove or disable the material on our website, and we tell you what we did. If you think we removed something by mistake, write to the agent above.
4. Records delivered to customers
Records go only to the customer who asked for them and are removed from URAKIMON 24 hours after the job ends, so we do not publish them. If you believe records from a source infringe your rights, write to [LEGAL EMAIL]: our terms let us stop offering a source or a field at once. We suspend and close the accounts of customers who repeatedly use URAKIMON to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.
5. Other requests
For trademark, database right or other legal requests, write to [LEGAL EMAIL]. This page is not legal advice; if you are unsure of your rights, please consult a lawyer.
6. Changes to this page
When this page changes, we post the new version here at least 30 days before it applies, and the effective date at the top changes with it. A change that the law, a court or an authority requires can apply sooner, from when we post it.
